James
Takamine (FD450SMCSB) Electro Acoustic
My adventures around the local music shops took me to Kingfisher music in Fleet one day. There amongst the acoustics was this one guitar that just appealed to me. It was sleak and not cumbersome like a Jumbo or a full dreadnought guitar. This was what I was looking for. Not something that was big, or amazing sounding acoustically but something that worked live. It does not mean I wanted a bad sounding guitar but the sound from it was not very loud. Although when plugged in it came to life. As a live instrument it sounded better than all my friends' acoustics so I paid the small fee of £400 for it. Then I found it whilst researching the model that I had found a bargain as it was worth a lot more. I did not care, it was perfect for what I needed. For recording it sounded great and live it was brilliant.
I am no Eric Roche so I did not need something for that style of playing, just something that worked and James has done that for nearly 20 years.
